Temple B’rith Shalom announced that Rabbi Holly Levin Cohn was assuming the position of Rabbi for its Reform congregation. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with a degree in Advertising and Organizational Communications, Rabbi Cohn earned a master’s degree in Jewish Communal Service and Non-profit Management from Gratz College in Philadelphia. In June of 2000, Rabbi Cohn was ordained at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati.
The grandchild of a Holocaust survivor, Cohn has served both large and small congregations throughout the South and Midwest and enjoys a reputation for her work with interfaith organizations and agencies that provide basic needs for the less fortunate.
The Jewish Community Foundation welcomes Rabbi Cohn and wishes her the best as she assumes her duties as the religious leader for Temple B’rith Shalom, Prescott’s oldest Jewish institution.
