EVERDAY HERO'S
Is something being lost or forgotten in today's 24/7 media-connected world? Does it seem that our culture has become enamored with role models of sports figures, celebrity actors, famous coaches, Washington pundits and politicians, American Idol, and Survivor? Have we forgotten those heroes who day in and day out contribute, who walk among us without recognition, and who are really-the very core of what makes our country and community great?

Beginning with this issue of Legacy, the Foundation will highlight an unsung hero who is making a difference in our community. They are everywhere, doing wonderful things without ever seeking attention. It is these individuals who are the real role models for our youth and out society. Common people doing uncommon things-just simply because it is the right thing to do. The Foundation believes they represent the best of what we are and what we can be.

Everyday heroes come from all walks of life, knowing no boundaries of age, race, sex, creed, or religion. If you know such a deserving individual, please contact the Jewish Foundation at info@jcfgp.org and tell us their story. With each issue of our newsletter we will honor such a hero, and contribute a $250 donation to the charity of their choice. Please assist us as we seek to honor those who walk quietly but powerfully among us. Thank you.
