Through funding from generous donors, the Yavapai County Free Library District has been awarded a grant of $25,000 by the Jewish Community Foundation of Prescott.

The grant has been awarded to the Bring on the Books program and will be used to purchase new books for schools in the following districts: Cañon Elementary School District, Clarkdale Jerome School District, Mingus Union High School District, Seligman Unified School District, and Ash Fork Joint Unified School District.

The grant from the Jewish Community Foundation will enable the Yavapai Library Network to go beyond simply replacing worn-out books. It will allow the Yavapai Library Network to broaden its collection by introducing contemporary works, expanding the selection of educational resources, and catering to a variety of interests and age groups.

The $25,000 grant from the Jewish Community Foundation will contribute to the acquisition of new books, ensuring that library visitors have access to a diverse range of up-to-date titles across various genres.

The Bring on the Books program allows the Yavapai County Free Library District to expand its collection, enriching the lives of countless readers, students, and researchers. For more information, visit ycfld.gov or on Facebook “@YCFLD.”
